Binding Services Nairobi
Binding is the process of assembling printed sheets of papers and covers to form a books by either stitching them together, stapling or applying glue or any other desired method.
Binding is the final process in book printing and that’s why our book printing services in Nairobi are geared towards achieving the best quality ever in every book printing and binding task we perform.
In saddle-stitch, printed sheets are folded and held together with wire staples. The pages are secured as one unit with the staples driven through the crease of the Books’s spine.
This method brings a flat look to the magazine when opened which makes it suitable for crossover images. This style is economical and looks professional too.
The perfect binding method uses a strong, flexible glue to attach the pages and cover together at the magazine spine.
Then, the other three sides of the magazine are trimmed for neat edges. With this method, you can also print graphics on the magazine’s spine.
Case binding pages are arranged in sections and sewn / stitched together in the correct page order. Hard covers are then prepared with different materials i.e leather, cloth, vinyl or pvc materials and attached to the books using glue.
Slip case which is a protective housing with one opening end is also necessary for high quality books which require executive presentation.
Wire o Bindng is a book bindng method where printed sheets are trimmed, arranged together in batches according to customer’s requirements.
They are punched and a double loop wire is inserted in the puched holes along the edge of the book and closed / squeezed by machine to force the wire to form a round shape thus finalizing the binding.
Wire o binding is mostly used to make customized notebooks in kenya because the pages are easily flipped and can lay flat on a table making it the most preferred method for binding custom notepads..
